Overview

The elder sibling of Classic 350 with some tweaks in the mechanical bits and the amazing matte black color shade, the Royal Enfield Classic 500 is one of the best offerings from the brand. Complimenting its retro look is a 500 cc twin spark engine that gives it the ultimate power and the vintage styling have made it land on the best retro cruisers list.

Powering the Royal Enfield Classic 500 is a 499 cc, Single-Cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark engine capable of producing a maximum power of 27.2 Bhp @ 5250 rpm and an utmost torque of 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A noteworthy riding quality, vintage styling and optimum performance have made the Classic 500 worth rooting for.

Royal Enfield is an Indian  motorcycle  manufacturing brand with the tag of the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production manufactured in factories in  Chennai  in India. Licensed from Royal Enfield by the indigenous Indian Madras Motors, it is now a subsidiary of Eicher Motors Limited, an Indian automaker. The company makes the  Royal Enfield Bullet, and other single-cylinder motorcycles. First produced in 1901, Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production, with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time

In 2017, Royal Enfield added new variants of the Classic 350 and 500 motorcycles. While the Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets Gun Grey as a new color option, the Classic 500 will now come in Stealth Black colour.

Royal Enfield has unveiled the 650 cc twin-cylinder engine at the Technology Centre in Leicestershire, England, on November 2017. This will power the next generation of Royal Enfield motorcycles. Royal Enfield is going to showcase this at the EICMA (Milan Motorcycle Show)  starting from November 7 in Italy.

About Classic Stealth Black

Royal Enfield’s newest variant of the Classic 500 is the stealth black. As the name suggests, it sports a matte black finish and joins the Desert Storm and Squadron series, the other variants with a matte finish paint scheme in the Classic 500 range. The Classic 500 stealth black is mechanically identical to its siblings, with one exception: it is the first Classic 500 to sport a rear disc brake. ABS has also been added to it – it is a Rs 15,000 optional extra.
